Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni is the largest continuous salt desert in the world, with an area of 12,000 km². It is located at 3650 meters above sea level in the southwest of Bolivia, in the province of Daniel Campos in the department of Potosí within the highland region of the Cordillera de los Andes. Salar de Uyuni is also one of the largest lithium reserves in the world, and it also has important amounts of potassium, boron and magnesium.
